Drafts, fogging glass, and failed seals are more than comfort issues. They're costing you money. Left Coast Exteriors installs ProVia windows with precision measurement and in-house installation from start to finish.
New windows do more than stop drafts. Modern high-performance windows like ProVia's product lines use multi-chamber frames, warm-edge spacers, Low-E glass coatings, and argon fill to dramatically reduce thermal transfer in both directions, keeping heat in during Clark County winters and keeping it out during the warm, dry summers that hit the Portland Metro. The difference is measurable on your utility bill within the first year.
Comfort improvements go beyond temperature. Quality windows significantly reduce the transmission of outside noise, a meaningful benefit for homes near SR-14, I-205, or busy arterials in Vancouver and Portland. The low-frequency hum of traffic, barking dogs, and neighborhood noise that bleeds through aging single-pane or failed-seal double-pane glass drops substantially with modern laminated insulating glass units.
From a long-term value standpoint, window replacement is one of the exterior projects with the strongest return. Updated, energy-efficient windows are a selling point with buyers, and homes with documented ProVia installations with transferable warranties carry that credibility through a sale. For homeowners who plan to stay, the combination of lower utility costs, better daily comfort, and reduced maintenance over a 20–30 year window lifespan makes the math compelling.
Not every window problem requires a full replacement. We'll tell you which option actually makes sense for your home.
ProVia manufactures every window to order. There's no warehouse full of standard-size units. Each window is built to the exact measurements we take from your home. That's how you get a proper fit, a proper seal, and performance that lasts.
The Aspect Series uses fiberglass composite frames that are eight times stronger than vinyl and won't warp, swell, or contract with Pacific Northwest humidity and temperature swings. Fiberglass also insulates better than aluminum and holds paint indefinitely, unlike wood, there's no refinishing cycle. If you have wood windows that are failing and want a like-for-like aesthetic without the maintenance, the Aspect is the right answer. Available in a wide range of colors and configurations including single-hung, double-hung, casement, and picture windows.
The Aeris Series is ProVia's premium vinyl line with reinforced corner construction and a multi-chamber frame profile engineered for strong wind-load performance. It's particularly well-suited for homes in the Gorge corridor east of Vancouver where wind events are a regular occurrence. The Aeris includes triple-point locking hardware, fusion-welded corners, and is available with a range of Low-E glass packages. It delivers outstanding thermal performance at a price point that works for full-house window replacements without compromise.
For homeowners who are already going through the disruption of window replacement, it's often the right time to evaluate the entry door as well. ProVia's Heritage Entry Door system delivers an exceptionally tight weatherseal. We regularly see clients move from a drafty old door to a Heritage unit and immediately notice the difference in air infiltration and street noise. Available in steel and fiberglass with a wide range of glass insert configurations. If your entry door is original to the home, combining it with a window replacement project keeps the job site efficient and the timing consolidated.
ProVia's Design Center lets you explore window styles, frame colors, and glass packages before we arrive. Homeowners who come into the estimate with preferences already formed get a faster, more accurate quote, because we're confirming a direction rather than building from scratch.
Browse ProVia's window lineup: casement, double-hung, picture, slider, and specialty shapes. Compare frame materials, glass packages, and exterior colors. The Design Center gives you a clearer sense of the difference between product lines than any spec sheet or catalog can.
Save or screenshot the styles and configurations that resonate with you. No account required. Just keep track of the product series, frame material, and color options you're drawn to. Bring that shortlist to the estimate, or email it to us in advance.
During the estimate visit we take precision measurements of every opening, confirm which configurations fit your home, and provide a line-item written quote. Once you approve it, we place the custom order directly with ProVia. Every window built to your exact specifications, installed to manufacturer spec so your warranty is fully intact.
Opens in a new tab. No account required to explore. Left Coast Exteriors orders and installs directly from ProVia as an Authorized Dealer.
As a ProVia Authorized Dealer, we have access to their full Endure and Aeris window lines with Energy Star certification. Authorization means we're trained to install to manufacturer spec, which is what keeps your warranty valid and your thermal performance numbers accurate.
Pacific Northwest homes frequently have moisture damage around window frames that most contractors ignore or quote separately to inflate the total. We assess every rough opening before installation and address structural issues as part of the project, not as surprise add-ons.
Every window replacement quote lists each unit, its size, and its price, along with labor, any framing work, and disposal. You see the full scope before signing. What we quote is what you pay. No mystery upcharges at invoice time.
Custom windows take time to build right. Here's how we take you from your first call to finished installation with no surprises along the way.
We come to your home, review all the windows you're looking to replace, and take precision measurements of every opening. We discuss product options and help you identify the right series and glass package for your home's orientation, exposure, and energy goals.
You receive a detailed written estimate. Once you approve it, we place the order directly with ProVia. Because every window is built to your exact specifications, lead time is typically 4–6 weeks from order date. We'll give you the specific timeline when we place your order.
When your windows arrive, we schedule your installation. Most whole-house window replacements are completed in one to two days. We confirm the date in advance and show up when we say we will.
Our in-house crew handles complete removal of the old windows, any needed framing adjustments, and full installation of the new units including flashing, insulation, and interior and exterior trim work. We don't use subcontractors. The same team that sold you the job installs it.
Every window gets a complete interior and exterior seal, casing, and trim finish before we're done. We walk through each window with you to demonstrate operation and confirm you're satisfied with the installation. No window is marked complete until you've inspected it.
The installation itself moves quickly, our crew typically installs 8–12 windows per day depending on the window style, size, and accessibility. A whole-house replacement of 15–20 windows usually takes one to two days of installation time. The longer lead item is the manufacturing period: because ProVia builds every window to order, you're typically looking at 4–6 weeks from order placement to installation. We'll give you a confirmed timeline when your order is placed.
An insert installation (also called a pocket installation) fits a new window unit into the existing frame, leaving the original jambs and exterior trim intact. It's faster and less disruptive, and works well when the existing frame is structurally sound and square. A full-frame replacement removes everything, sash, frame, jambs, and exterior trim, down to the rough framing. Full-frame is necessary when the existing frame has rot, moisture damage, or is out of square, and it also allows you to change the rough opening size. We assess each window opening individually and recommend the right approach for each one.
In most Clark County and Portland Metro jurisdictions, like-for-like window replacements (same size opening, same window type) do not require a building permit. Changing the size of the opening, altering the structural rough framing, or adding a new window where there wasn't one before will typically require a permit. We know the requirements for the jurisdictions we work in and will flag permit needs during the estimate process. If a permit is required, we handle the application.
Yes. Energy-efficient window replacements may qualify for federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act (up to 30% of the cost of qualifying windows, subject to annual caps). Clark Public Utilities and Pacific Power also periodically offer rebate programs for qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades. Availability and amounts change, so we recommend checking the current program details with your utility provider and a tax professional. ProVia windows are ENERGY STAR certified and typically meet the qualifying specifications for available programs.
Repairs make sense for isolated issues: a broken hardware piece, a failed weatherstrip on an otherwise sound window, or a single fogged IGU in a newer window that can be reglazed. Replacement is the right call when the frame itself is rotted, warped, or structurally compromised; when multiple windows in the home have the same failure pattern; when the windows are original to a home built before the mid-1990s and are single-pane or early double-pane; or when the cost of repairs approaches the cost of a new, better-performing, warrantied unit. We'll tell you honestly what we see during the consultation. We don't push replacement on windows that can be reasonably repaired.
Yes. We offer flexible financing options through third-party lenders with terms from 12 to 84 months, including 0% intro APR programs for qualified buyers. A whole-home window replacement typically costs $8,000–$18,000 depending on the number of units, sizes, and product line, but with financing, many Clark County homeowners find the monthly payment is smaller than the energy savings they see in their first winter. Ask your project consultant for current available programs when you receive your estimate.
"We replaced all 14 windows in our Vancouver home. Original aluminum windows from 1987. The difference was immediate. The house is noticeably quieter and we've already seen lower heating bills two months in. Left Coast's crew finished the whole job in a day and a half. Everything was cleaned up and they walked us through every window before they left. The ProVia Aeris units look exactly right on our home."
"I live on a fairly busy street in Lake Oswego and the road noise through our old windows was constant. After Left Coast installed ProVia Aspect fiberglass windows throughout the main floor, the change in sound reduction was remarkable. It genuinely feels like a different house. The crew was professional, the installation quality is excellent, and the project came in exactly at the estimate. No surprises."
"We had significant frame rot on four of our windows and were worried it would be a much bigger job than we hoped. Left Coast assessed each one during the estimate, explained exactly which needed full-frame replacement and which could use inserts, and gave us a clear breakdown. They handled the framing repairs as part of the job. Everything was done right and the ProVia units they recommended fit the character of our older Craftsman perfectly."
